Why zūmo

See it in action

We realize riding a motorcycle is completely different than driving a car. That's why we created zūmo, a product unlike any other navigator on the market. The zūmo series of navigators are designed, constructed and tested specifically to meet the unique needs of a motorcyclist. Simply put – zūmo is built by bikers for bikers.

Different by Design

Motorcyclists need peace of mind while on the open road. The last thing you should worry about when you travel by motorcycle, while commuting or on vacation, is the performance of your navigator. The zūmo series offers a variety of features a motorcyclist desires. Our glove-friendly touchscreen allows you to operate the zūmo without removing any apparel or gear. The motorcycle specific interface is left-hand optimized for your riding convenience. Bluetooth®1 options allow clear spoken turn-by-turn directions to be routed wirelessly into your helmet.

zūmo also provides you all the navigation features you might expect from the world's leader in GPS navigation. zūmo provides you the coolest features such as Exit Services, speed limit indicator, junction view, lane assist and TracBack®. You can rely on zūmo to get you from point A to point B and do everything in-between, safely and confidently. In addition, you have the option of receiving free lifetime map updates2, so you can navigate with the most up-to-date roads, highways and points of interest.

Tough Enough for Your Bike

Weather is always in the forefront of a motorcyclist's mind.
That is precisely why we test zūmo in the harshest conditions. zūmo is constructed to withstand all the elements, from pouring rain to freezing temperatures or blazing hot sun. Gas vapors are typically a concern for any item mounted to your bike, but not for zūmo. We choose fuel-resistant plastics in our design to ensure zūmo tolerates any gas vapors. In addition, we provide a motorcycle mount so your unit fits securely and connects seamlessly to your bike.

FEATURES

Check out all the cool features the zūmo motorcycle navigator series has to offer. Note that not all features are included in all models (see specific product pages for details).

Waterproof to IPX73 and Fuel Resistant

When you hit an unexpected storm, you want to concentrate on the road, not worry about zūmo. We built zūmo to be dependable in any kind of weather. It even has fuel-resistant plastics – it’s built that tough.

Glove-friendly and Sunlight-readable

zūmo's touchscreen menus were engineered with high sensitivity to allow easy operation while wearing gloves. Continual refinement to the technology has resulted in a display screen that is remarkably readable on the brightest of days and darkest of nights.

Bluetooth

Helmet-connected Bluetooth technology gives you clear, turn-by-turn spoken directions. Hearing street names and navigation commands gives you the ability to keep your focus on the road.

Navigation Tools

zūmo’s premium navigation search bar returns addresses and points of interest as you type them in, giving you a faster, more intuitive experience. There’s also a speed limit indicator so you know when to throttle down and Exit Services that show you parks, gas stations, shops and restaurants for upcoming exits. With TracBack you can ride wherever the road takes you, then navigate along that same route back to where you started.

Lane Assist with Junction View

No more guessing which lane you need to be in to make an upcoming turn. Lane assist with junction views guides you to the correct lane for an approaching turn or exit, making unfamiliar intersections and exits easy to navigate. It realistically displays road signs and junctions on your route and provides arrows that indicate the proper lane for navigation.

Free Lifetime Maps2

Roads change. So you need mapping that is current. Lifetime map updates give you up-to-date mapping, and the most recent information about businesses like restaurants, ATMs, hospitals and more

Trip Planning with BaseCamp

Use BaseCamp to plan your next ride. You can create routes, mark waypoints and develop tracks on your computer and then transfer them to your zūmo. The “Track Draw” feature lets you trace your planned route and view elevation changes to help you estimate the difficulty of your ride. Plan a favorite route, making sure your navigator takes you through the most scenic of places. Even play back your trips over time and save and share your adventure.

Service History Log

Record the date, mileage and type of maintenance performed on your motorcycle. Tire mileage, chain cleanings, oil changes, new spark plugs, tire pressure and changes – any maintenance you or your garage performs, zūmo will keep a record of it.

Montana Navigator

If your adventures focus on hunting, hiking or off-roading, consider the Montana. This 4" navigator is a rugged handheld GPS that runs on batteries. Visit Montana.
